PRICEVILLE, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A Birmingham man was arrested after the truck he was a passenger in was pulled over in Priceville Sunday.
According to Priceville Police, on Oct. 26, an officer observed a truck engaging in “several traffic infractions” around 4 a.m. in the 3300 block of Highway 67.
Authorities say the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop before the truck proceeded northbound on I-65 and did not come to a complete stop near the 335 mile marker.
During the stop, police say 46-year-old Andre Lewis Woody, from Birmingham, was found to have active arrest warrants, that were verified through the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office in Valdosta Georgia, that were extraditable nationwide pertaining to narcotics and firearm charges.
