RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A lane closure is coming to a portion of S. 9th Street in Richmond for around two months due to stormwater improvements.
According to Richmond's Department of Public Utilities (DPU), crews will be conducting an emergency cavitation repair and stormwater improvements on the 300 block of S. 9th Street.
The repair, improvements and subsequent lane closure will last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, Oct. 27 and lasting until Friday, Dec. 5.
Officials said that while the far-right lane between the Manchester Bridge and E. Byrd Street will be closed throughout the project, the right turn onto E. Byrd Street will still be accessible.
