BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - Miles Burnett returned to his childhood neighborhood on the Southside Tuesday afternoon to knock on doors.

Burnett is also encouraging voters to take advantage of early voting. He says his campaign has met with over 40,000 people over the past few months. And he plans to continue connecting with voters over the final week.

Burnett says the city is facing an affordability crisis, especially when it comes to housing, and he's prepared to offer solutions and new leadership.

"Right now, it's about connecting with people at their doors, and making sure they get out there and vote. I'm encouraging everyone to vote. I feel so energized about this campaign and what we're going to build here, a new future for our city," said Burnett.
