NORMAN — OU men's basketball coach Porter Moser summed up the beginning of college basketball season perfectly in his season-opening news conference on Tuesday.

"This offseason seems, on one respect, longer and longer," Moser said. "On the other hand, it goes quick."

It doesn't seem like all that long ago Moser and OU finally punched their ticket into the NCAA Tournament with the help of first-round NBA Draft pick Jeremiah Fears . Fresh off the successful campaign, Moser once again attacked the transfer portal, this time bringing in high-level talent with significant experience in Saint Joseph's Xzayvier Brown, Notre Dame's Tae Davis, Miami's Nijel Pack and Alabama's Derrion Reid.
