NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A woman is facing serious charges after an online threat toward a Nashville school was discovered and traced back to her.

According to arrest affidavits, the director of security for Lipscomb University and Lipscomb Academy was alerted to an online post that included an article about the school on Granny White Pike.

The article described how the school handled protests surrounding a memorial for Charlie Kirk on campus.

The post read, “I’ll go blow lipscomb tf up rn,” according to the affidavit.

The director immediately contacted the Metro Nashville Police Department, and the account was traced to 25-year-old Karissa Hamlet.
