Hallmark Channel actress Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe is continuing to share her cancer journey by posting an emotional video of herself shaving her head while battling stage 3 breast cancer.

Lowe, 44, posted the intimate moment on Instagram Monday, showing her emotional reaction as her hair was shaved after experiencing significant hair loss during treatment.

“Well ladies and gentlemen,..I did a thing. Waking up to clumps of hair falling out was traumatic. Hiding it was the worst! But doing this made me feel like I was in the driver’s seat,” Lowe wrote in her caption.

The actress explained in the video that her hair had been falling out even with the slightest pull. As she sat for the shaving, she visibly cried through the process.
