OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One man is in custody after allegedly leading authorities on a chase that began in Omaha before crossing over into Iowa, according to law enforcement.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office posted via social media Wednesday afternoon about the arrest of Clarence Brown, Jr., 43.

They said they located Brown in a stolen pickup truck near 97th and West Dodge Road sometime this morning.

The driver, whom DCSO identified as Brown, rammed a cruiser before fleeing the area to I-80 before crossing over into Iowa.

“The Council Bluffs Police Department took up the pursuit at the state line and continued until the vehicle’s wheels quite literally fell off,” the statement reads.

Brown was booked into Pottawattamie County Jail on charges of driving on a suspended license, fugitive
