GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A Brown County nonprofit and a well-known Green Bay figure are teaming up to kick off a campaign to donate new books to youth during the holiday season.

Partnering with the Friends of the Brown County Library, honorary literacy ambassador Bre LaFleur, the wife of Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, kicked off the 37th annual Give-A-Kid-A-Book campaign on Wednesday morning at the Brown County Central Library.

The annual campaign seeks community members of all backgrounds to unite through donating new and unwrapped books, which will be donated to children under 18 in need.

The program is funded through numerous groups and individuals, including the Green Bay Packers Give Back, Festival Foods and plenty more.
