HARTFORD, Conn. — The drive is still alive for the Connecticut Education Association.

The CEA, based in Hartford, is continuing to help bolster the blood supply in Connecticut. On Wednesday, they held another blood drive at their headquarters, partnering with the Red Cross of Connecticut and Rhode Island.

“People are opening up their hearts and their veins to give life,” said Angela Sanchez, the strategic business planning manager for the Red Cross of Connecticut and Rhode Island. “Collaborating and coming together for the community is definitely a serious need for our future so it keeps the blood supply consistent.”
