MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) - A Madisonville woman is accused of assaulting two young children.

Police say they heard about from child services and arrested 22-year-old Brittany Emerson

They say the youngest child had bruising around his eye, and the older child had bruising around his neck and on his back.

Officers say Emerson admitted to punching the children and grabbing one around the neck.

She’s charged with assault and has a $2,000 cash bond.
