CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 28, accused of setting a south Charlotte restaurant on fire.

A police incident report claims 24-year-old Griffin Sanders broke into Leroy Fox Cotswold on South Sharon Amity Road shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday and burned "several items within the business."

He has been charged with felony counts of breaking and entering as well as burning the contents of an occupied commercial building.

Back in September, court records show Sanders was arrested in Jackson County after officials said he tried to enter buildings on the Smoky Mountain High School campus in Sylva while armed with a pocket knife.
