CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Jury selection is still underway in the Brooks’ Sandwich House murder trial as attorneys work to find jurors who can be fair and impartial in one of Charlotte’s high-profile cases.
After hours of questioning right at the end of the day on Thursday, more people were excused from the jury pool: one man and two women. Those remaining were reminded not to speak to one another about the case, research it online, or form any opinions on the case at this time.
No one has officially been seated.
Attorneys for both sides have been asking a wide range of questions, covering everything from employment and prior experiences with law enforcement to opinions on gun ownership and familiarity with the case.
