MANDAN, ND (KXNET) — On Thursday, searchers spent time along the Missouri River looking for Renzo Bullhead, who went missing in March.
Volunteers and tribal members from around the state gathered south of Mandan looking for Bullhead. This effort included drones, boats, search K9s, and even a specially trained group of horses from the Blackfeet tribe in Montana. • Photos taken by Sebastian Mendoza.
As previously reported by KX, Bullhead, who is from the Standing Rock tribe, was last seen on the railroad bridge in March of this year. Searchers today say with above freezing temps and most of the leaves now dropped, this may be one of their best chances to find Bullhead before winter.
"We're going to go back. We'll go back. Double check. Double check," Standing Rock Sioux Tribe vice chair
