MONROE COUNTY, MI – A limo bus crash closed I-75 in southeast Michigan on Thursday, Oct. 30.

The crash was reported at 6:15 p.m. on southbound I-75, near the exit to I-275 (Exit 20) in Monroe County, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

The limo bus reportedly overturned on the highway, resulting in “multiple injuries,” Michigan State Police said in a post on X .

State police did not say exactly how many injuries there were, but those injured were being transported to Toledo Hospital and Monroe Hospital.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the highway as emergency crews respond to the crash. Traffic is being directed off at exit 20, MSP said.

The crash site is located around 20 miles away from the Michigan-Ohio border.
