MADISON (WKOW) -- Part of Packers Avenue will reopen Friday morning after being closed for several days while crews replaced a deteriorating railroad crossing.
According to a city of Madison release, the railroad contractor completed the crossing work Thursday afternoon.
Packers Avenue will remain closed overnight to allow the newly placed asphalt to cool. Contractors plan to begin reopening the street at 6:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31.
