The winds will increase in the afternoon on Halloween and power outages and tree damage are possible.
A wind advisory is in effect. Winds will gust to 50 miles per hour through Halloween evening and they could get as high as 60 miles per hour in the hills this evening.

Power outages
As of Friday morning, Eversource is reporting around 3,800 power outages.
There are also some downed trees, closing some roads.
Road closures
Route 17 in Durham is closed at Coe Road because a tree came down.
Route 75 in Suffield is closed at Mapleton Avenue because a tree is down.
