HANCOCK COUNTY, Ohio — Five people were arrested after a multi-agency drug operation led by the FBI and the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force, authorities said.
According to Findlay police, the operation took place Oct. 28 around 4 p.m. and involved the FBI Northwest Ohio Safe Streets Task Force, the Hancock County Special Response Team and the county’s Strategic Mobile Enforcement Team.
Authorities said three "controlled reverse drug deliveries” were carried out after consultation with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Hancock County Prosecutor’s Office. The operation stemmed from an FBI investigation that previously resulted in the seizure of multiple kilograms of cocaine in the area.
