MONROE COUNTY, Michigan — Eleven people were injured Thursday evening when a limo-bus rolled over on southbound I-75 in Monroe County, according to Michigan State Police.
Troopers from the Monroe Post and the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division responded to the crash around 5:45 p.m. in Frenchtown Township.
Authorities said the 2008 Ford Super Duty limo-bus was transporting members, mostly teenagers, from Detroit’s Community Violence Intervention Program to Cedar Point when it left the roadway and rolled several times.
MSP said of the 15 occupants on board, 11 passengers were taken to three area hospitals. Eight had minor injuries, two had serious injuries and one passenger was listed in critical condition. Passenger ages and current conditions were not immediately available.
