A man who threw a petrol bomb and pointed an imitation firearm at a officer has been jailed. David Wiatrowski of Bradford Road, Boston was sentenced to five years and eight months in at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday, October 31.

The 36-year-old claimed to be ‘bored of life, feeling depressed’ when he decided to make and throw a Molotov cocktail (petrol bomb) at a vehicle, then aiming what was only later discovered to be an imitation firearm at a police officer in the early hours of New Year’s Day 2025.
