PRINCETON, Texas — Two Princeton ISD employees were fired this week after attending a party in which underage students were drinking, according to district officials.
Princeton ISD officials said in a letter sent to parents and guardians that the district was notified Oct. 28 that two employees attended a party in which students engaged in underage drinking. The employees were fired within 24 hours of the initial report, according to the letter. Princeton ISD confirmed the two former employees were paraprofessionals.
Princeton ISD said parents of former students involved were notified, as were the State Board of Educator Certification and the Princeton Police Department.
The Princeton Police Department declined to provide additional details, citing an "ongoing investigation."
