ANSONIA, Conn. — An Ansonia man has been arrested for his role in a crash that led to someone's death.
Police arrested Isac Saravia, 26, on Wednesday in the death of Adonis Lapuppet-Bligen in a crash on Perishing Drive on the morning of Sept. 24.
The investigation revealed that Saravia was driving too closely behind Lapuppet-Bligen's vehicle before the crash, and both vehicles were going as fast as around 80 mph, police said.
Lapuppet-Bligen's cause of death was blunt force trauma and the manner of death was an accident, according to police. There was also alcohol in Lapuppet-Bligen's system, police said.
Saravia is facing charges for reckless endangerment and reckless driving. He was released on a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 12.
