ANSONIA, Conn. (WFSB) - An Ansonia man has been arrested for reckless driving and reckless endangerment after an investigation into a deadly crash.
27-year-old Adonis Lapuppet-Bligen died after striking a telephone pole on Pershing Drive on Sept. 24th.
26-year-old Isac Saravia was arrested on Oct. 29th for his part in the crash.
Police say that although they could not prove the two were racing, their investigation found Saravia and Lapuppet-Bligen were driving approximately 80 MPH just before the accident. The investigation also determined Saravia was driving his own car, following closely behind the car driven by Lapuppet-Bligen right before the accident.
