Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, is facing new explosive allegations about his conduct abroad, including claims he arranged for “40 prostitutes” to be delivered to his luxury hotel during an official trip to Thailand.

The fresh accusations come from royal historian Andrew Lownie, who told the Deep Dive podcast that the disgraced royal used his taxpayer-funded role as the UK’s Trade Envoy to indulge in private pursuits.

“In 2001, he is 41, he’s having his midlife crisis and he basically starts chasing lots and lots of women,” Mr Lownie claimed.

“He uses the excuse of his role as Trade Envoy, paid for by the taxpayer, to go off on these trips, but he always puts in two weeks of ‘private time’.

“So, we pay for his holiday and then he goes off and does things.”
