Hamilton tenant advocates demand Premier Doug Ford’s government end its “ housing horror show ” by scrapping proposals in an omnibus bill they say will fast track evictions and hamper renters’ ability to resist them.

With some dressed for Halloween, including a dinosaur getup, members of Hamilton ACORN rallied with that message outside Tory MPP Monica Ciriello’s Upper James Street office on Friday.

“We’re already starting at a disadvantaged position and these changes are just going to make it more difficult for tenants to keep up,” said Amanda Dick , chair of Hamilton ACORN’s downtown chapter.
