ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WITN) - The Nash County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left two people injured.

The sheriff’s office says one of the victims was shot in the head.

It happened on Derring Drive and investigators say the victims then drove to the EP Mart in Gold Rock and were transported by EMS to UNC Nash.

The search is now on for a suspect.

The sheriff’s office says the shooting may have stemmed from an argument.
