L.W. Allen passed away peacefully at his home in Kevil, Kentucky, on Monday, October 27, at the age of 28.
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, graduated at age sixteen from Challenge Academy at Fort Gordon, Georgia, and attended Georgia Technical College in Lawrenceville, Georgia, with a focus on Biomedical Engineering.
L.W. was an old soul—wise far beyond his years. When he was old enough to speak well, he told stories of going with his grandfather to the wharf to see the tall ships. Military history was his passion, from ancient Greece to modern times. Surely he was a Knight Templar in a former life.
He was also passionate about his games—ClockworkXdemon was known around the world. A very talented whistler, he could rival Bing Crosby.
After his diagnosis, he started checking things off
