Dionne, Jr. Eva Fontaine scored twice in overtime as the East Providence girls' soccer team beat Middletown during a D-2 quarterfinals game at home on Wednesday evening. The 12-2-2 Townies move on to face Prout in the semifinals at home on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The vaunted East Providence offense dominated the Wave, plastering 11 shots on goalkeeper Sadie Maloney, but the keeper and senior center back, Sophie Mason, played well defensively and kept Middletown in the game. Townies midfielder Victoria Capelo broke a scoreless tie midway through the second half.
