A 19-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal crash in Coatbridge.
The crash, which involved a black Vauxhall Corsa and a pedestrian, happened at around 5.20pm on November 9, 2024, on the town's Brambling Road.
The pedestrian, a 57-year-old woman, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she sadly later died.
The 19-year-old woman will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
An appeal was put out following the crash, with Sergeant Gemma Blackadder saying at the time: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died at this very difficult time. Article continues below
