FOXBOROUGH – K’Lavon Chaisson is living up to his first-round expectations. It just took a little bit longer for the edge rusher to develop.
On Sunday, Chaisson notched another sack, giving him a career-high 5.5 on the season. After signing a 1-year contract with the Patriots , this 26-year-old is having the best season of his six-year NFL career.
After Sunday’s win , Chaisson wouldn’t take the credit.
“I think it’s obviously the dominance of the front,” Chaisson said when asked about his career-best stats. “We’ve got the big boys inside causing havoc, Christian Barmore, Milton Williams. I’ve got Harold (Landry) on the other side, fighting through chips, trying to help me win my 1-on-1s. Of course, we had our guys in the backend giving us an extra second to get to the quarterback.
