Armed police, paramedics and fire crews have descended on a residential street in Liverpool and sealed it off this afternoon.

Emergency services swarmed Arncliffe Road in Halewood, which is currently cordoned off with Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and North West Ambulance Service all in attendance.

Merseyside Police later said it was repsonding to a "domestic incident", which saw a block of flats evacuated. 14:36 KEY EVENT
