NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A child was hit by a vehicle near McMurray Middle School on Monday, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

Nashville PD was notified of the incident around 8 a.m. Officers at the scene confirmed that a silver SUV struck a child who was walking to school at the intersection of Tusculum Road and Hasty Drive.
