GREEN BAY, Wis. (WKOW) -- Green Bay's worst fears from Sunday are true: Third-year tight end Tucker Kraft will see his best start to a season end prematurely due to his knee injury.

On the day he turned 25, Kraft was given a diagnosis of a torn ACL in his right knee. The injury happened during the third quarter at Lambeau Field, where the Packers were stunned by the Panthers, who entered the game as 13.5-point underdogs.

His 32 catches for 489 yards and six touchdowns all lead the Packers, who are now 5-2-1 after Sunday's loss. Entering the game, he was the third tight end in NFL history to have at least 30 catches, 450 receiving yards, and six scores at this point of the season.

Losing Kraft means the offense has a big role to fill, specifically with backup Luke Musgrave.
