PINEVILLE - For a long time on a cold Halloween night, it looked like the Bobcats of Bell County would remain undefeated against the Pulaski County Maroons. With Bell up 28-14 soon after the start of the fourth quarter, it was the Maroons that held strong and, after a game-winning PAT, took home a 35-34 victory in double overtime to ruin the Bobcats' undefeated regular season.

Neither team could score on their first drives, but that quickly changed after a blocked punt by Bell County put the Bobcats on the four-yard line. A one-yard quarterback sneak by senior Blake Barnett put the Bobcats ahead 6-0 after an unsuccessful two-point try.
