NEW ORLEANS —
For the first time, three New Orleans restaurants have been awarded Michelin stars. Advertisement
Saint-Germain on St. Claude and Zasu on Carrollton were each awarded one star, while Emeril's on Tchoupitoulas received two stars.
These are the first restaurants in Louisiana to be recognized by the organization as part of their Michelin Guide to the South.
In addition to the stars, nearly a dozen restaurants and hotels in New Orleans received a Bib Gourmand for their excellence in dining and customer service.
