A drink driving woman who drank rosé on the beach before crashing her car and killing a baby boy has avoided jail.
Stevie Steel, 24, was behind thee wheel when her vehicle collided with a parked vehicle and rolled onto its roof in Clacton-on-Sea in July 2022. The impact caused six-month-old Harry Kiely to be sent hurtling out of the car window, leaving him with fatal injuries.
She, the baby and his mum, 22-year-old Morgan Kiely, had spent several hours at the beach before the crash, where the mother had bought three bottles of rosé.
Steel's ex-partner told Chelmsford Crown Court he did not think that the pair
