The Norwalk Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian that occurred on November 3, 2025 at approximately 8:46 p.m. The crash occurred on State Route 635 near County Road 592 in Liberty Township, Seneca County, Ohio.

The preliminary investigation showed that a 2014 Chevy Impala, operated by Taylor Gerschutz, 22, Alvada, was southbound on State Route 635. Kenneth Goshe, 79, Fostoria, was crossing State Route 635 from west to east, and was struck by the Chevy Impala.

Kenneth Goshe succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene and was transported to Tiffin Mercy Hospital. Taylor Gershutz did not sustain any injuries in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
