BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Former Cal State Bakersfield Athletic Director Kyle Conder has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County, claiming the CSUB administration mishandled sexual assault allegations and fired him for speaking out.
Three separate scandals have rocked Cal State Bakersfield this year, but Conder's 48-page lawsuit alleges they are all connected.
The first scandal broke in February. It involves two former CSUB softball players alleged sexual harassment, abuse and assault.
The two lawsuits against CSUB's administration and Board of Trustees were filed in early October. That suit alleges the head softball coach and an assistant coach verbally and physically harassed the players.
