The well-known TV production company behind a new documentary on 'mum' Kira Cousins has spoken out on the scam which shocked Scotland.
The 22-year-old, from Airdrie , hit the headlines when it was revealed that she had used a plastic doll to con her friends and family into believing she had given birth to a tiny daughter named Bonnie-Leigh Joyce after strapping on a prosthetic baby bump for months.
Her mum rumbled that the 'baby' was actually a realistic Reborn doll after finding it in her bedroom. Kira is now set to tell her story in a documentary produced by Studios Entertainment and Glasgow-based Two Rivers Media.
Although a home for the documentary has not yet been decided, both firms are planning to liaise with a number of platforms and broadcasters about the project, reports t
