At 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid from Wednesday 1 p.m. until Thursday 1 p.m. for Oneida County.
The weather service adds, "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 48 mph expected."
"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," comments the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
