LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A wanted woman was arrested Monday morning after a traffic stop in north Lincoln, court documents say.
At around 3:45 a.m., an officer followed a vehicle without any license plates to a home near North 33rd Street and Leighton Avenue.
As the vehicle turned into a driveway, the officer initiated a traffic stop, according to an arrest affidavit.
The driver, 49-year-old Ryan Deneveu, got out and tried to “disassociate herself from the vehicle” by walking toward a backyard, the affidavit alleges.
The officer ordered Deneveu to stop and return to her vehicle.
Through the course of an investigation, officers learned Deveneu had an active arrest warrant, and she was taken into custody.
