LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman was issued a ticket after a rollover crash in south Lincoln on Monday, police say.
According to a crash report from LPD, the 21-year-old woman was cited for the crash at 27th Street and Coronado Drive at around 7 p.m.
The crash report did not specify the exact reason for the citation.
The driver stated she was heading north on 27th Street when a vehicle in the outside lane was “not allowing her” to get into the lane.
She sped up and tried getting into the outside lane. This is when she lost control of the vehicle, leading to the rollover crash, the report says.
Two trees were damaged in the crash.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews spent an hour rescuing the woman from the vehicle.
She was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
