On Tuesday at 1:03 p.m. a high wind watch was released by the National Weather Service valid from Wednesday 7 p.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. for Western Montgomery as well as Berks, Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.
The weather service says, "Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph possible."
"Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles," describes the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates."
