A key associate of Edinburgh gang boss Mark Richardson has been arrested after trying to protect his home from an attack by rivals.
Ross McGill's Tamo Junto (TMJ) gang targeted the man's plush property in the city earlier this year, as a turf war raged across Scotland's major cities.
As reported by the Daily Record , the man was caught this week as Police Scotland announced they had arrested another five people as part of their Operation Portaledge investigation, bringing the total to 62 arrests.
The feud kicked off over a £500,000 cocaine deal paid for using fake bank notes in March this year.
McGill - who fled Scotland for Dubai in 2022 - has been targeting Richardson and his associates in a series of terrifying firebombing and shooting attacks across Edinburgh.
