On Tuesday at 1:08 p.m. a high wind watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Wednesday 1 p.m. until Thursday 10 a.m. for Northern Clinton, Northern Centre, Southern Centre, Northern Lycoming, Southern Clinton and Southern Lycoming as well as Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, Tioga, Sullivan, Union, Snyder, Montour, Northumberland, Columbia and Schuylkill counties.
"West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible," comments the weather service. "Isolated gusts over 60mph are possible, especially within thunderstorms that move through Wednesday afternoon and evening."
