Chicago firefighters battled an extra-alarm apartment fire near North Park University in the city’s Albany Park neighborhood Tuesday evening.
No injuries had been reported at the 2-11 alarm blaze inside a three-story apartment building in the 5000 block of North Troy Street as of 5 p.m., according to fire officials.
The fire was finally put out just before 5:40 p.m., but the cause of the blaze was still under investigation, officials said on social media. It wasn’t immediately clear if any residents would be displaced.
