EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The case is now closed on 16-year-old Isam Clark , after he was found guilty on all charges.

He was convicted of killing 19-year-old Dalton Collins, as part of a robbery which turned deadly back in March. All those involved were teenagers.

Sgt. Anthony Aussieker with EPD says they see this kind of thing all too often.

“Any of it is too much,” Aussieker stated. “It’s not that it’s necessarily on the rise, but any instance of teen gun violence or gun violence in general is definitely a major issue.”

In September, another teen shot and killed his friend on Cherry Street after they were playing with guns.

Sgt. Aussieker says teens have a number of ways to get guns, usually by stealing or getting them as gifts.
