ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Falcons have made yet another change at the kicker position. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Falcons have waived kicker Parker Romo and signed kicker Zane Gonzalez.

Romo himself was a replacement for Younghoe Koo after Koo missed a 44-yard game-tying kick in the final seconds of Atlanta’s Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Romo, a 28-year-old Peachtree City native, was 11-for-14 in seven games with the Falcons.

He missed a crucial extra point last week in the Falcons’ loss to the New England Patriots that would have tied the game.

To replace Romo, the Falcons have reportedly signed veteran kicker Zane Gonzalez.
