HOMEWOOD, Ala. —

A man has been charged with multiple counts of attempted murder following a shooting in Homewood.

Homewood police said they responded to a shooting call on Vulcan Road on Saturday.

Officers reported that no one at the scene was injured, and several people were detained.

Emmanuel Furlow was arrested and charged with four counts of attempted murder and two counts of shooting into an occupied building.
