On Tuesday at 6:33 p.m. an updated high wind watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Wednesday 4 p.m. until Thursday 10 a.m. for Berkshire County.

The weather service says, "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 to 65 mph possible."

"Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles," says the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates."
