INDIANAPOLIS — Every two years, the Indy Hunger Network releases a study on food assistance needed in Central Indiana.

IHN Executive Director Kate Howe says this year's report is more important than ever.

"We really want everyone in our community to be aware that this is a problem and it's, it's not just, you know, the people that you typically might think need help people who are living on the streets or really, really struggling, but it's everyday people," Howe said. "This is a problem that's not going away and it's a problem that's affecting our neighbors that we don't realize are struggling, so it's people that live next door to you whose kids are in class with your kids at school who go to your church."
